1-Draw a large oval with two smaller circle shapes above it. Add a curved shape as shown to the bottom of the large oval.
2-Connect the small circle shapes to the oval with curves as shown. Draw four leg segments on each side of the oval near the bottom. Erase areas indicated by dash lines.
3-Add claw detail and erase the original circle shape guidelines as needed.
4-Add the second set of segments to each leg started in step 2.
5-Add the remaining leg segments (some have three and some have four). Draw hatch marks around the crab body. eyes and indents as shown.
6-Shade area where crab body segments meet a slightly darker tone than the rest. Add shadow to the body to show texture and pattern.
