Start with the shape of The Ant’s head.
After that draw a jug shape under the head. It’ll be the ant’s thorax.
Now draw a small circle under the jug shape.
Draw another small circle.
Now you should draw a leaf shape under the circle as the “abdomen”.
Now let’s get to its hands. As you know insects have slim legs, draw the first parts as I did in the sample.
It’s time to draw the second part of its leg.
Look at the sample and draw the last part of its leg as shown.
Now let’s get to the second hand; draw the first part like this.
Draw the second part as well;
And continue with the third part.
Finally draw the last part of this leg as you can see.
It’s time to draw the last pair of legs for our ant. Draw the first part as I did in the sample.
After that draw the second part;
Now draw the last part and it’s done.
Let’s draw a pair of “Antenna” for our ant.
Don’t forget to draw the “Scape”.
Now draw the eyes like this;
And also the “Mandibles”.
Draw some patterns on the abdomen part;
And erase the extra lines.
Now color your drawing.
And add light and shadow to it.
In the end draw a background for your painting and it’s complete!
