-Start with a circle for the main part of one of the hands. Draw two lines extending from it for the wrist/arm area. Draw lightly as many of these lines are guidelines and will eventually be erased.

-Add four lean, overlapping, diagonal ovals as shown. Erase the portion of the circle that touches the wrist area (indicated by dashed lines).

-Look carefully and erase any lines that are marked below as dashed lines. Add a small curve as shown near arrow.

-Once the erasing is done, the hand should look ike this…

-Add small lines to extend each finger as shown below.

-Add another extension to the bottom finger. Erase dashed areas.

-Add four more overlapping, diagonal ovals as shown.

-Look carefully and erase any lines that are marked below as dashed lines.

-These ovals are a bit too round on the outside so extend them as shown.

-Erase the original outer ovals and it should look like this… Also, add a thumb to the outer right side.

-Add another thumb to outer right side. This one will be wrapping around from the hand “underneath” the top hand. Add an arm/ wrist area to left as shown.

-Add fingernails, wrinkles, knuckles, skin folds, rings, bracelets and anything else you can think of to personalize this artwork and make it unique.
