Step by step drawing a Carousel Horse

1-Start with two large circles: one for the chest area and one for the rear. Add two smaller circles for the head as shown.

2-Connect all of the circles with curved lines as shown.Two curved lines for the neck.Two lines to connect the face.Two lines to connect chest and rear.

3-Erase areas indicated with dashed lines to form the contour of the horse body. Add curved lines for top of legs as shown.

4-Add lower leg and hoof detail. Notice the angle in which the legs are bent. Erase dashed line area.

5-Add two more legs “behind” the ones drawn in step 3 and 4. Add horseshoe detail to hoof.Erase dashed areas.

6-Add long tail outline and face details.

7-Add curved lines for saddle and bridle around head.

8-Add mane and more detail to saddle base.

9-Add band around belly and simple stirrups.

10-Add strap around rear and blanket under saddle.

11-Add pole “behind” the horse.Draw some simple lines to indicate muscle striations.

12-Color or shade as desired.Add different designs to make it unique.
