Suggested for Possible Characters:
- Plotting, evil characters!!!
- Serious guys
- Handsome villains
Start the upper lid with a long curve going up

Draw the bottom lid as a shorter curve that curves down a little in the middle.
This makes the overall shape of the eye long and narrow – a nice option for cool villains!

Draw a crease above the eyelid. Then, make the eyelid thicker with another sloping line.

Now add a small, circular pupil. It’s alright if part of it is covered by the lids.

TIP: If you want a character to look more menacing or cool, try to keep the iris smaller. If you want a character to look more cute or friendly, make the iris bigger.
To make the eye look more harsh or cool, make the highlight like a jagged triangular piece.

Fill in the eyelid’s thickness. Then, draw a dark pupil under the highlight.
To make the eye look more piercing, try not to make the pupil too big in the iris. The contrast between the dark pupil and the light iris can make a character look more menacing.

Start a cool eyebrow with a bent line angled down near the eye.

Create the eyebrow’s thickness – the thick part of the eyebrow can hover right above the eye, or even overlap it a little. This helps create a tense feeling in the expression.

To make your art look finished and dramatic, ink and shade with a dark pen or marker.

TIP:The complexion of a character can really help show their personality. Dark brows draw a lot of attention to their eyes, so this could be a good idea for a character who is dramatic, intense, or serious.
