Suggested for Possible Characters:
- Scared characters
- Those who are suspicious or tense
Start with a curved line for the upper eyelid.

Make the bottom eyelid curved. This looks like a bent “C”

Make the upper lid thicker with another curved line.

Draw a large oval for the big iris.

TIP: For characters who are young. cute, or friendly, try large irises. Small irises could be good for intense or serious characters.
Let’s draw some nice highlights to make the eye’s surface bright and shiny! Add ovals.

Under the highlights, draw a small pupil, and some curved lines for some detail. Lines like these can also help make your character’s eyes look a little unique

Add some nice lashes on the ends of the upper lid. You can make them as long or as short as you like! I made the back lashes longer to emphasize the pointed corner of the eye.

Fill in the upper eyelid so it stands out. Then, add some more texture lines inside the iris. These can help separate different areas if you color your eye later.

Draw a curved eyebrow to show a worried or anxious look. Try making the eyebrow tilt up at the front.

Add some creases by the eyebrow to emphasize the expression more.
Then, add sweat drops and some cheek lines.

Ink your drawing with your choice of a dark pen, marker, or brush pen.
