1-Start with an oval shape. Draw guidelines for eyes, nose and mouth.
Eyes are about 1/3 of the way down.Nose a bit more than 1/2 way down.Mouth about 3/4 of the way down.
2-Add ear and jaw.Trim oval near right eye as shown. Add circle pupils and nostrils.Erase areas indicated by dash lines.
3-Add hairline, arch above pupil, mouth shapes and chin shape.
4-Fill in all shapes just drawn with a dark shade as shown.
5-With a slightly lighter shade, draw and fill in areas near eyes, nose lips, ear and side of face.
6- With an even lighter shade, block out the eye, nose, lip, chin and face area as shown.
7-Erase face guides drawn in step 1. Add shoulders and clothes.
8-Shade clothes using U light and dark hues.
9-Add light highlight to sweater area and each eye as shown.
