1-Start with two long,vertical, parallel lines.

2-Add two horizontal lines that overlap the lines drawn in step 1.

3-Erase the overlapping lines in the center indicated by dashes. Close the ends to create a lower case block letter “t”.

4-Draw a curve across the center as shown. This will be the top of the drapery.

5-Add another curve for the bottom of the drapery.Add some folds near the top as shown.

6-Erase dashed areas inside of the drape. Add fabric folded over the back as shown.

7-Add lines and knots on the cross to give the appearance of wood texture.

8-Add curved lines on the shroud for drapery detail.

9-Add a 3D “thickness” to the left edge and underside of the cross. Shade or color as desired.
