My twins can’t resist climbing up a slide when we go to the playground. You won’t be able to resist trying this cute little drawing in only 5 steps.

Step 1: Draw the top of a triangle but don’t close the bottom. The left line should come down further that the right. Draw another line parallel to the left line.

Step 2: Close the top and bottom of the slide with short lines. Add parallel lines to be the back part of the ladder. Add a line parallel to the short triangle line drawn in step one to form a portion of the front part of the ladder. Add lines for ladder rungs.

Step 3: Use curved lines to form the walls of the slide and handle bars at the top. Complete the rungs with more lines so they appear 3D. Draw a base for the ladder.

Step 4: Fill in the slide with a light layer of tone. The left side wall of the slide can be slightly darker.

Step 5: Blend tones to smooth them. Darken the inner left wall and outer right wall of the slide, the top of the ladder rungs, and the edges of the side ladder. Darken a curve at the base of the slide and ladder base. Erase guidelines that are no longer needed.
