1-Start with a block letter “O”.
2-Trim off top of the “O” then draw angled lines on each end.Erase dotted area.
3-Draw four, short angled lines as shown.
4-Connect the lines drawn in step 3 with short lines as shown.
5-Draw four more short, angled lines.
6-Connect those short lines as shown below and add two diagonal lines.
7-Follow the contour of the bottom of the horseshoe to create a “thickness”.This creates a 3D appearance.
8-Next, thicken the inner rim of the horseshoe as shown below.This “thickness” shows perspective.
9-Shade as desired. Make the “thickened” areas darker for a more realistic rendering.
