1-Start with a long, lean oval as a guide. This will eventually be erased.
2-Add a slight curve that slopes upward on the left as shown.
3-Connect the left side of the curve to the oval with a jagged edge as shown.
4-Add jagged edge close to oval on lower left. Erase portion of oval guide indicated by dashed lines.
5-Add jagged shape at base and lower left of oval. Erase portion of oval shown with dashed lines.
6-Add jagged shape at upper right side of oval. Erase dashed lines.
7-Draw the shapes shown inside the upper right area of oval. Erase dashed lines.
8-Finally, connect the last bit of land to the curve drawn in step 2. Erase dashed lines.
9-Fill in with an American flag pattern, President Washington or Lincoln’s faces or another design.
