1-Find a piece of 8.5 x 11 card stock or thick paper and fold it in half horizontally.
2-Sketch out the word “MOM” in the center. Make the “O” larger and higher as it will become a flower.
3-Draw a small circle inside the “O”, then draw equally spaced lines crossing through as shown.
4-Draw petals around each line in the shape of a long oval. The petals should spiral around the center.
5-Erase the outer circle guideline, then draw long lines down the length of each petal as shown. Fill center.
6-Add a stem and a leaf. “Thicken” the M’s into block letters or another style of interesting lettering.
7-Draw a design around the edges of the card or add a special message at the bottom.
