1-Start with a long rectangle for the flag pole. Add an angled shape next to it as shown.
2-Add another curvysquare shape beneath the one drawn in step 1.Curve inward.
3-Add another shape inside the shape drawn in step 1. This will be the union portion of the flag.Erase dashed line areas.
4-Add a thin stripe that follows the contour of the flag line on the left as shown.
5-Add another flag stripe and a row of stars. NOTE: all fifty stars will not be depicted Since the flag is angled a certain way.
6-Draw two more stripes and another row of stars. NOTE: The stars should be staggered and not lined up exactly with one another.
7-Finish adding the stars and stripes. here should be thirteen stripes, however, all fifty stars will not be visible because of the curve.
8-Add stars and stripes to the flag pole as shown.Add small fold of flag here.
9-Shade or color as desired. Stars are white, the union portion is blue and every other stripe is red.
