Large objects (e.g., airplanes, buildings, bridges) usually have to balance detail with their surroundings. This bridge has many elements to it (railings, walkway, etc.) and there’s also the background of the cityscape.
-Draw a horizon line with a VP. Draw two diverging lines (a triangle effect) for the bridge body.
-Add the railings and the upper parts of the bridge. Notice how it becomes thinner and taller as it gets farther away.
-Add lines for the railings and supports.
-Shade for contrast and draw a cityscape on the horizon. Add clouds and shade the water lightly.
