-We start our Dogwood branch with the flowers. Remember the circle exercise from a previous chapter? Use that here to place the blooms where they go.
-After you are done, add the flowers within the circles, and erase the circles.
-Now, add the branches.
-Add more flowers the same way you started in the first few steps.

-Add the branches last.
-The leaves here are teardrop-shaped. Draw the stems first where you see stems.
-Add in the leaves without the stems.

Take this time to see if you’ve missed anything.
-Draw the stem coming from the top of the branch.
-Add your buds.
-Add the leaves on the end.
-Add curvy lines for the small flowers along the branch.

Take your time. It’s not a race. No one is timing you.

-Add in the centers of the blooms. Some are teardrops and others are lines.
-Color in the leaves first.
-Use a purplish pick for the flowers, taking care to leave the ends white.
-With a bright pink, fill in the dots and centers.
