Let’s draw and create some professional-looking anime hands in different poses Quick + Easy!
Begin with a very rounded triangular shape. This is for the palm facing up.
TIP: Don’t worry about drawing individual fingers right away. Break down the hand pose into simple shapes first.
Summarize the long, graceful fingers with a sharp, slim triangle going out at one side. We’ll divide the fingers later.
For a fancier pose, make the slim pinky stick up a little. This makes the hand look dainty and cute. Keep the thumb curved, with the tip pointed.
Now divide the major finger shape into the rest of the long fingers. Make sure the middle finger is the longest.
Next, draw a curved oval to start the opening of the fancy sleeve.
Add the rest of the sleeve tapered into a small area. It looks like a rounded cone.
Now draw a wavy line around the curved oval for the pretty opening of the sleeve.
To make the fabric of the sleeve look natural, add lines for soft folds that all point down towards the bottom.
TIP: The longer the fingers are, the more graceful they could look. But making the finger tips too long could also make the hand look scary. Experiment!
This hand pose is beautiful and graceful.
The character could be a dazzling hostess or magician, proudly presenting something, or she could be a confident spellcaster. You can also try this hand pose for an arrogant character who loves showing off or flipping her hair vainly.
